What is normal oil pressure readings for idle and normal driving? I have an oil light on constantly after installing my long tubes. I checked and my engine seems to have plenty oil. Just want to make sure I am not missing something thanks.
I typically see 30psi at idle (in drive with an automatic, 6 speeds will have a higher idle oil pressure) and about 44psi at 70mph (2000rpm) This is with 200F oil temps.

Are you talking about the HUD? If so you just have to
change the display to what you want to see.
Ok maybe I am being paranoid. But in my HUD I see a oil can looking thing in the top left. I don't remembr seeing it in the HUD before the long tube swap. But my dipstick says it is full.

The oil can is showing in the HUD display because you disconnected your battery to install the headers (thus causing the display to revert to "default"). Just press the Page button until you get the display you want.

The oil can in the HUD does not mean an oil problem. It's just telling you that the display selected is to monitor oil pressure. As the other post notes, just use the page button to select what display you want to see.
