Help with power window motor install
I bought a reman power window motor at AutoZone and followed directions I found here which were for installing a power window motor that comes with the cabling already setup. The AutoZone unit requires you to remove the back plate from the motor, pop the gear out which is connected to the cables and then use that on the new motor assembly.
Problem is the assembly has multiple exits for cables and its not obvious which exit hole is used. There are two cables coming out of it and I tried the ones I thought were right but it looks like I have slack now and the window goes up and down but there is some bad noise in there.
I have the door panel off the module mounted finger tightened and the switch hooked up to the wire so I can actuate it.
Does anyone have the pass door panel off now and can look at this thing fully assembled?
Anyone have a parts description from a service manual for the door that might show cable routing???
