Just wanted to post the conclusion to my pass side power window motor replacement. Its all done now. I bought a motor with regulator from the local corvette shop here in Tampa for 250 and bolted it in as per the instructions in one of the threads here on the forum.
Do NOT buy the reman motor from AutoZone made by Cardone unless you really need to save the money. I was unable to install this motor and will try returning it. The Cardone motor reuses your existing regulator assembly and I tried removing the motor while still inside the door. There wasn't much room and the cables popped out and I couldn't get them back in correctly. After I fired up the motor, the window went up and down but was making a lot of noise. Inside the motor the cables were all bent up and ruined.
