I decided to clean my udders today as I will be parking the vette for the winter fairly soon. Most of the "udder cleaning procedures" I see on here mention squeezing or massaging them to get the crap out. I don't know if anyone noticed but you can yank them out of their holes pretty easily, then clean/hose them outand they pop back in just as easily, just squeeze the top a bit so the lip fits inside. Also it allows you to reach into their mount and flick any crap thats caught in there out too.
Just wondering also... if you do not clean the udders and they get clogged up what can happen? Is that a source for interior leaks?
Well, one of the things that can happen for sure (happened to me) if they get clogged is water with no place else to go drains into the passenger side foot well. Unfortunately, that's where the BCM and the IP fuse box are. I've also read on the forum that the water backup can damage the wiper motors.
