98 won't run again
With out a catch can. I was replacing the oil pressure sensor today. I took the intake off and turned it upside down on the bench, and later looked in the runners, and saw a pool of oil in each runner. That is not to mention the burnt oil stuck to the sides of the runners. I figure if you get 10 to 20 by porting a intake, I should get that much back by keeping the runners clean. If I don't get that, it is ok, I will know that crap is not going into the engine anymore.

Been thinking about a catch can for about two months now. After seeing your pic, I think it will be bumped up on the things to do list.

I was shocked at the amount of oil that pooled down in the runners, upside down on the bench. I am just glad I had to replace the ops. No telling what it would be like in a year or two with the miles I drive. I don't think this is a mod, but a must have. I just wanted to warn those that thought it was a bling item. Save your motor, keep the oil out, after all, we want these things to run forever.
