Spare tire question

Will a standard offset 17" x 9.5" C4 wheel/tire (275/40) fit on a Z06?
How about a ZR1 offset 17" x 11" wheel/tire (315/35)?

No, I don't have a flat tire situation now, I'm just wondering.

Yes on the 17x9.5. The ZR1 wheel, I dont have knowledge on. The width I would imagine would be no problem, but the offset may not clear the caliper. (educated guess?)

I think it was posted here that it will not work due to brake interference. Let us know if I am wrong.
I would just like to know if a rear factory wheel/tire can fit in the trunk?

Full size spare will not fit thru the trunk opening on C5Z--has to go thru the passenger compartment-Camaro wheel clears the brakes.

Yeah I figured that...I have a couple of bottles of that Fix-A-Flat Inflator foam along with the Z06 tire kit. I wouldnt want the added WT of a spare anyway. I've been lucky so far~Knock on wood

A late model GTO donut spare tire/wheel will fit a C5/Z06 if the ID is machined out about 1/16". I just saw a late model GTO tire/wheel on EBAY. Use one at the risk of doing damage to the posi rear axle though.
