Vibrates when in drive????

Vibrates when in drive????
Just bought a 1998 Black on Black two days ago....Curious..dont know to much about these cars so this is all new to me..But when I put the car in drive or reverse it the whole car vibrates and gets louder when barley letting off the brake...When its in park its fine..At red lights while the car is in drive it'll start vibrating different tones until you let off the brake and start to go.....Anybody know what is causing this or is this just what a vette does....Please help me out.
