My Michelin runflat rear tires are wearing out faster than the fronts...imagine that! I'd like to get something larger than the 275's I've got now but Michelin doesn't make anything larger in the runflats. 2 questions, is there any problem in having runflats on the front; since they're still good; and putting non-runflats on the rear? And, whats the largest I could use with stock rims on my 02 coupe?
On stock rims I think that 285's are the largest you can go with. As for mixing tread /tires, most will say you shouldn't. If you need rears most times you can get a better price buying 4 tires vs. 2 at a time. Just a thought.

Thats an idea. I do like the Michelins but wouldn't mind trying something else if I could get a wider tire for the rears. Are the 275's the widest of all brands of RF's?

Haven't seen anything larger than the 275's in a runflat for the C5.
