My 01 Vert.
Hey all, finally got her out and a few pics snapped. I bought her off the forum as well!! Already have Z06 brake ducts ordered and the BMW lift pads installed. Its a 6speed. Engine/drivetrain/exhaust is stock. 4.10 gears and Z06 Ti exhaust is all I plan on doing right now.
Here are a few pics, not the best....the car has a good layer of dust on it from sitting in the garage. Just figured I'd share.

Nice Vert. Welcome and hope you get to enjoy it some during the winter months.
Hard to tell if it's black or DBGM. Haven't seen a DBGM with a black top. Looks great whatever it is just thought i saw a bit of green there.

Its triple black, the layer of dust probably makes it look green, lol.
It's my first C5 (I have owned a C3 Vert and a C4) so I'm psyched. Still gotta get it registered and such.
Thanks for the compliments, its got a ways to go. I need to hit it real good with the polisher a few more times.

I LOVE it. Man. There is just something about a tri-black 'vette. I've had three of them now: a '96, '01 and now an '02. Are you going to change the exhaust out? That's the first thing I did with all three - then the sound system.... rims, etc.

You will love the C5. Had a C4 vert before i got the C5 and what a difference in the ride, comfort and it's great to have a trunk. And C5's the best looking body style made for my money. 
If you have the run-flats the ride won't be as good but it's ok.

Congrats on your great taste! The chrome Z06 wheels & red calipers look terrific w black. You will love the solid feel and sheer driving experience of the C5 Vert vs. the earlier generations.
Get out there and drive it before the pissy weather sets in. Please remember to remove hockey skates, LOL!
