Is the C5 Z06 shifter the same as the C5 stock shifter??

Hi Capt -
Are you looking to change out your shifter?
I have put a BPP billet in my Z -
The short throw billets are notchy and noisy , but I LOVE the feel -
Great for the drag strip, but probably would be a royal PITA on a road course.
A lot of folks have been putting C6 shifters into C5s - they are similar to stock, but have a more ergonomic lever and ****.
