Default wow

just took my new C5 on a little trip. There is NOTHING in the world that can give a guy a bigger ego boost than to take the vette on a trip especially someone just raked over the coals in a terrible divorce. All my problems seemed to disappear once i got on the interstate and cruised.

Congrats on your Vette. I try to drive mine a few times a week if possible. Its a great way for me to forget the grind & unwind. I love the feel of my car & the feel my car gives me. Nothing like it!

Thats exactly what I say all the time, Klaus, hang tough buddy...divorce can be a kick in the nuts but nothing like jumping behind the wheel of C5 to cure the pain. As I always say, that what does not kill you makes you stronger...sounds like you're well on your way

A drive like that is good for the soul. Sorry about your divorce, but trust me when I say there is a light at the end of the tunnel. And I do speak from experience.

Hang in there

Sorry about the divorce. My second wife and I have been married nearly 33 years, so I guess this one will last!

There's nothing like a little C5 therapy!

Isn't it interesting how it's always the "other one" who needs the therapy? But I agree, nothing better after a bad day than to just get in and drive. Good luck with things.

Lookin' back, divorce was the best thing that happened to me, 'till about a year later, now life is unbeliveable. That was 17 yrs. ago. ONWARD & UPWARD! A drive in a Vette is magic, 24/7.
