Exactly. Some bugs are very corrosive, and if not removed right away, will actually eat/lift/damage the paint. Unfortunately, the only cure is to buff the paint with a quality medium cut compound. Good luck.

Clay bar. Also I wax the most vulnerable parts of the car, nose and mirrors, more often then the rest of the car to make removal of what I pick up easier.
