Well, i guess it was inevitable...while on a quick trip to San Antonio, my 2000 coupe (56K miles) suffered the (1) dreaded fuel gauge drops to empty when there's plenty of gas problem, (2) the oil pressure sensor drops out and tells me i'm running 80+ PSI and then when i go to fill up, (3) the nozzle keeps shutting off so i have to stand in the brisk December wind and fight with the shut off to fill the tank....
Guess getting them all fixed at once is a lot better than spacing it out...lol.....
but even with the issues that pop up from time to time....what a great car.....
I have to agree with you. I have already dealt with the oil pressure sender and gas gauge issue. I replaced a red top optima today and still having head light issues, but I love this car.

Sorry for your troubles. I have dealt with the fuel sending unit already.
I replaced the factory battery in my 04 before I knew it was the side post and not the top post that had leaking issues. The Red top looks better anyway.
As far a the fuel cut off problem, once you stick the nozzle in, rotate it al little counter clockwise, that seems to hepl mine not shut off when I am filling up. I know the weather wan nice to stand in today. Almost makes you forget we are in Texas.
I guess when the oil pressure unit craps out I will use the warranty. Good luck fixing it. I guess it is the price to pay.
