I see there asking people if they want the HID lights I work 3rd shift so I'm always driving at night but I don't know what's better for lighting the HID or the Breathless C5R light tell me which you would go.Doug
Well I have the breathless non pop lights and I think that HIDs would be brighter then them. I heard that you can get a HID kit for the breathless lights but I dont know.
Breathless lights are not really C5Rs, Specter Werks makes the closest thing. Any upgrade you make, HIDs are required, not optional imo, so whatever kit you get, expect to get a conversion kit for it too.
As a side note, you don't need to have exposed headlights to have HID, kits for the popup lights are also sold.
I think I'll try replacing the bulbs to a higher brightness first and see how that works and if not I think I'll probably go with the flip up HID I can't see spending by the time I get them installed probably around 1500.00 thanks for the response

If you're just going to replace the bulbs, save yourself some time and aggravation and just step right up to the Toshiba HIR's. They're not HID, but the next best thing in your stock housings.
