Good bye
Ok---it's time to say good bye to my car. Don't go getting all excited---I love my C5---she is now going into the shop. I would like to get it there this week but one of my parts came today via UPS and they did not leave it---so hope fully tomorrow but then have to watch the weather--looks like we might have snow by Thursday Or Friday so she might not get there until next week.
So here are the last pics---looking just the way she did 2 months ago when I bought her (or was it three )
She is getting the new oil sensor and a new bullet exhaust then she will go to the other garage wher she will be getting ground effects (just fron sides and regular wing---no rear), new blackcherry blackout kit (thanks Richard), a headlight adjustment, new HID headlights (high and low beam), new holographic lettering front and rear, new tail ight seals, and a new paint job. Right before she comes home she gets her new wheels and tires (Y2K chrome with Sumitomo HTZRII's and brand new tire presure sensors). Last but not least---right before she is done I will also be ordering the new smoked top. We will be going to the gargae regularly to take pics of the progress which I wil include as they come..All my parts wew purchased from supporting vendors and with the help of many of you here (thank you all for the help). Hope you enjoy the pics as I post her progress..

Wow! That's a lot of "car love" at one time. I had started a parts "pile" of Mods to keep me busy through the winter. But the past few weeks temps have been so nice out I did them all! And now I have to come up with some more. But I was just tinkering compared to your list. Headlight actuator gears, C6 front ride height adjusters/longer rear bolts, Frame protectors, Column lock bypass, ETC. Nows the best time of the year for you to "send the car away" Clean the lens on the camera and don't be shy with it. I think in progress pics are the greatest! Good to see you and your family enjoying your cars.

Thanks to all. I saw a color on here on a thread posted "if you could change the color of your vette". They called it Metallic Graphite. I cannot find the color code on a corvette color site we checked out but I saved the pic of the car so I can print it out when I take it to the garage. We already looked at the GM colors and think we have found the color---so it should look like Metallic Graphite..
Yepper---WAY excited...All the parts look fantastic and my husband found teh silver emblems for me that I was looking for--so I am really psyched...
