Fob!!!
When I bought my car the guy gave me two remotes one broken, rattled inside. And one he said was a replacement but it had to be programmed and to bring the car back the next week and he would have his guys program it for me....Well when I got home I looked into programming the remote from the manual..And did it. The remote unlocks and locks the doors and flashes the light and everything...But the passive locking and unlocking doesn't work...The dealer told me that he would have to have the car for about 3 to 5 hours that the only way to get the passive to work was to have his techs hook the car up to a computer....Is that true? Or is there something I'm missing in the programming steps? The passive switch is switched to the on position and passive unlocking is set to both doors.....Had to put that in there because I just know somebody out there was going to ask it!!

I could be wrong, but don't see why the car would have to be hooked up to a computer to make that function work. Programming the fob to the car should do the trick. Perhaps someone with a lot more knowledge of the PKE system than me can confirm.
