qiuck question for auto's
On the gear selector is there suppose to be a light that lights up so you can see at night what gear you are in? Mine doesn't light up and for the life of me I can't remember if it ever did

that's kind of what I thought, I guess when I change the flasher out, I will change the bulb as well, anyone have any idea what size bulb it will be off hand?

There's also a little red tab that slides to cover the light to show what gear you're in. If the letters light up but the red tab isn't there, it's probably broken off. If the lights aren't on with the key on, then you're on the right track with the bulb. It should light up anytime the key is on, even in daytime. Good luck.

thanks for your replys, my little red tab is there, it's just I need to turn on map light to see, I can tell by driving what gear i'm in, but it's kind of funny, since I know it's out, it bothers me now, however it could have been out for a year for all I know and then it wasn't bothering me
