Default info

1.If you drag it, you'll need a hardened output shaft.
I have 700 rwhp and don't have a hardened shaft,
but I don't drag it or run it from a stand still.

2.Your 315 tires won't stick out if you have 10.5
wide wheels; if you have 11 inch wide wheels, the
tires will stick out half an inch on each side. I know because that's what I have.

If you have a spare set of wheels for drag only don't fool around with street tires, get a Mickey Thompson cheater slick or drag radial, much better at the track than the BFG and loose the 18 wheels if you can, not enough sidewall for the best launches. You want 17 or 16 would be ideal, plus it will be easier on your drivetrain.

If you go wider than 305's just make sure you get the body color or black front and rear fender guards because really anything wider than a 295 sticks out a little bit and you will throw crap on your paint. You could also get a mini tub and those 315's would look perfect. Either way...Anything 295 and larger with a D/R Is gonna give you night and day difference traction wise. HOLD ON!!!! Post some #'s If you can after the Install

If you are going to do it a lot you can get a second set of c5 take offs in 17 and you can go with a 17" 275 tire from either Mickey Thompson ET Street radial of BFG drag radial.

If you are going to run them on the street and want the drag radial for the street then the 18s will work for ya
