Default car too low

I've had problems getting out of my driveway the last couple months, but no problem before that. My splashguards are dragging and both front ones are cracked in half. comparing this car to my '04, these splashguards are about one and a half inchs lower, so how could that be? What would make my vet drop down an inch or so? I had to put boards in the driveway to get out. Thanks Doug

Maybe a problem with the suspension (shocks or spring)? Just a guess.

I would have the same problem If I lowered my Vette. My driveway Is really steep with a pretty big lip too. Would not be fun, I could fix the driveway lip, but It would still be a tough one to get a lowered Vette In there.

Perhaps it is nature's way of telling you that these mudflap atrocities have no place on a performance car. I'm pretty sure that the guys over on Ferrarichat aren't wondering why their mudflaps are scraping on the driveway. Just a thought.

Time to hit the gym.
Only kidding.
I do notice that in cold weather that the air damns seem to scrape more than in warm weather so perhaps as the temperature changes the suspension somewhat (springs shocks sways etc)
Try measuring it on a cold day and after keeping it in the garage.

What did you do Doug, I know you and I know you haven't put on that much weight.

One last car show of the season - American Legion Hall - Baltimore Heights - Decd 10 - see CCC website for details or Private me for information.

BTW - you might want to look into either FATTDADDY or FATTMOMMAS - I went with the FATTMOMMAS - got tired of replacing those expensive ALTEC splash guards - they are up to $70.00 bucks a set and I am on my 2nd set already.

...maybe the suspension is still settling from a previous change tof components and/or cold weather has an effect on some hydraulic components. Have you ever noticed how the small hydraulic lifts on hoods, hatchbacks, trunk lids, etc don't open as well as during the warmer months?

Maybe someone repaved your street without you noticing and it is actually the street that's higher.

Hope to be there Monday night
