I'd have to say slammed would be about a half inch fender gap or lower. More than about a finger-size or half inch gap would be just lowered IMO. Thats how I would describe it.

This is how I had my car when I had my DRM Coilovers on it, I had it this way for 3 days, the area I live it doesnt allow it to ride this low and I actually did some damage to the underbody of the car.

Got a different coilover setup and now its only about 1/2 inch lower than stock so now its all good

To me, slammed it having the body of the car just about sitting on the tires. Lowered gives you a bit more room between the tires and the body. EGs car was slammed.

nice stance
mine is as low in front w/ stock suspension
would love coilovers, but it'd put me in a different race class

The main difference between slammed and lowered is that with a slammed car you drag on everything. On a lowered car you only drag on 1/2 as much.

Lowered on stock bolts with 18's all around.

Mine is lowered on stock bolts, no bushings cut and the front bolt and bushings still in place (see sig), but I have thought of going lower, but my wife keeps telling me no, but it isn't her decision. Seems like every time I am getting ready to do it, I will find that place in the area that my car will rub and bottom out, so I tell myself that my "lowered" car is fine for now.

I have seen GROND in person and it is freakin' slammed and looks great, but it is just too low for me to want to go.

Interesting point of view, of which I disagree.

I've driven my car more than 20,000 miles - cross country - with no worries. Once I got the ride height and spring rate right, it does not touch.

DRM coilovers & T1 sways work like a charm...

A lot of other people here have also done damage to their cars that are too low, even a couple that are advocating slamming it. Lowered on stock bolts is the lowest you should go, end of story.
