Got to be the first person to start a newly built Z06 with zero miles during a tour of the Bowling Green plant! They let me step onto the assembly line at the final inspection area, sit in the car, and press the start button.
After watching the assembly of standard C6's, Z51's, and Z06's I am thoroughly impressed with our American supercar. The aluminum frame, it's dry-sump 427 LS7 engine, massive 14" brake rotors, carbon fiber front ent, and 3" exhaust make it a truly purpose-built performance car.
The performance of the new Z06 makes me proud to be an American and at least a C4 owner.
Can someone direct me to a web site that lists the performance specs of the C5 Z06 so I can at least set my sights on that next?

Yep, Bowling Green factory tour is always fun. Been there 3 times and never get tired of it.
Read the FAQs for specs etc.

Yes, they gave me a "Birth Certificate" for that Z06. Gotta get one someday. For now I'll enjoy my C4 and dream of adding tweaks to make it perform almost as well.
