Default Lowering Questions

As many of you have read in my past threads, I've been wanting a set of 19/20 inch rims for some time now. If I put a set on my car will it jack up the car? My car is at stock ride height now and was wondering if I went from the 17/18 combo to 19/20's if it would make my car sit up more? Thanks in advance!

With the correct size tires, no.

My 19/20" tires are identical in overall height to the stock 17/18" tires. They did nothing to raise or lower the car.

Hey Y2Kvert4me,

Thanks for the quick reply man! Ok cool! That's what I was hoping to hear. I'm gonna go with a 245/35 ZR19 up front and 285/30ZR20 in the rear. Should I have any problems with those sizes? Thanks!

Those sizes are perfect.

I'm using 275/30/19 and 285/30/20. The 245/35/19 is fine if the wheels are narrow (9" or less). If your fronts are 19x9.5" (or wider), the 275/30 is a better fit on the wheel.

That was a really cool video man. I don't see how you made it from your house to Florida with your car lowered and with the front spoiler on When I had mine I couldn't even make it 20 minutes from my house without hitting 2 armidillos I miss my spoiler though, it really completes the front of our cars Thanks again for you help
