Default Polished thin spoke wheels

Can anyone please tell me whether 2000 polished thin spoke wheels are unique or the same as 2001-2004 thin spoke polished wheels? Also are they directional or is the front right and front left the same wheel? Thanks for the help. Please educate me quickly. I am in the middle of buying a single wheel. Eric

All 2000-2004 are basically the same. Very small detail differences even when sitting next to each other. Fronts are 17" with no left or right side difference that I know of. The detail difference in some of these years would not be noticable once on your car without looking very close.

It was my understanding, just based on observation, that the 2000s were a slight bit thinner than the 01s and up. I could be wrong about that, though.

There are two different types of C5 thin spoke wheels. The 2000 C5's had a narrower polished thin spoke. The 2001-2004 spokes are a little wider spoke. Here is a link that you can see the difference between the two wheels. Look for the 2000 wheel, and the 2001-2004 thin spokes. You will see the difference. If you do a search on the topic you can probably find a few posts describing the coding on the back of the wheels so you can find a correct match. There is no side to side difference in the wheels, stock the C5 came with 17in front, 18 rears.

Not sure why they seperate the 2000 from the 2001-2004. They appear the same to me, even in person side by side.

I do know that in 2000 there were 2 sizes of "spoke thickness," and that was between the polished and painted due to a different supplier producing the painted wheels.

There is a difference. The 00 is more thin between the center and rim. Go to the top right option after going to the mid america link. It will allow you to try your vette with different wheels. They have the 00 and the 01-04 wheels. Click between the two and you can see the difference...

The way I understand it is that the '00 wheels did have the thinner spokes, but other than that, they are the same wheel. No right/left wheel differences.
