I just purchased a new buffing machine. I want to make sure I don't do more damage than good to the car. I am not sure of the propper use of the pads that came with it. ( one terryclorth, 2 Mocro fiber pads) What is the propper way to apply the wax and to remove it.

Also, we will need to know if it is orbital or random orbital.
With a random orbital, you really can't do too much harm, but an orbital in the wrong hands could. Definately check out the car care section, www.autogeek.net as well as www.adamspolishes.com have some cool instruction videos online.

The car care sections has a lot of great posts on buffing esp with the Porter Cable (PC). Go back and read posts on this. The Autogeek site is also great.
