Nice Owners Manual Cover?
Bought my 01 C5 last April and am totally enjoying everything about the car.
The Owners Manual, however, came in a zip-lock plastic bag. Does anybody know of a nice leather bag for the manual with a zipper that will fit in the glove compartment?

Mid-America offers a portfolio similar to what you would have gotten new with the car. Expensive, but it will be like the original stuff. Their part number is 600-023. You may also be able to pick one up from Gene at the Karshop.

Hmmmm, my owner's manual in my 2000 came with a nice little plastic protective casing that has the C5 emblem on it and there are a couple slots that allow you to put papers in and a sticky pad in (also has C5 emblem on it).
Might want to check around ebay and see what you find, maybe you will get lucky. Another thing I like about this little thing is it fits perfectly in my glove box.

I picked up a second owners manual that I keep here in the house to look up various items. It came with the same original vinyl cover, cd, etc. (2204). You can find these on ebay and are not as expensive as buying through dealer, Midamerica etc.

I should have stated originally that I bought the car used and the dealer ordered the manual for me a week or so later at my request.
I am sure that he found somewhere to buy only the manual rather that spending the $90 for the manual and leather portfolio.
