Hey Jeff,

Im not sure if I can make it to the race, but I would like to send a donation anyways. Please let me know how to do this when you all work out the details.
Thanks

Perhaps we could get some CF vendors to donate goods for a silent auction. We could do like a $30 entry fee with a mininum amount of trophies, 50/50 raffle and anything else we could do to raise money for Sonny All proceeds would go to Sonny & Lisa

Maybe we could even coordinate several shows across the country on the same weekend. All with the same goal in mind - Sonny

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

First of all it is nice everyone wants to donate money to sonny and lisa but this money has to go to paying his medical bills not to them directly so something would have to be set up so this is where the money goes to

I see your concern but it doesn't sound to me like Lisa or Sonny are the type that would take money donated to help them pay his medical bills and do something else with it---they would still have mounds of medical bills in the end---and I don't think Gary would have made the suggestion if he thought for one minute that they would spend the money on anything other than the essentials. I'm sure at this point they will need more than just money for the medical bills---you have to live someplace so there are sure to be other expenses that will require help especially if Lisa is the only one bringing in an income---it's hard enough these days to make it on two incomes. I trust the Gary knows what he is doing.

I hope there will be an update soon on how we can all help. As long as there is good weather if February is the choice for events---we will try our best to make it or as someone else suggested---maybe someone here (Glenn maybe ) in PA might be able to do a simultanious event and so forth across the country. Anything we can do to help---let me know.

Hi Lori i understand what you are saying. The only thing right now we have in pa out near me is the corvette club i belong to has a car show coming up in may and they give some of the funds they collect to different charities. But i think is everyone on the corvette forum gives something we can collect alot more money for sonny. We have so many people who are on the corvette forum even if everyone only gave a dollar we could collect alot of money for him

Here's the paypal email address that Sonny used when he purchased a front spoiler from me. I'm guessing it's okay to use it to send donations.

Hey guys! It's Lisa...I just read what you guys are thinking of doing for us. No words can express my gratitude to EVERYONE who has been so concerned with Sonny's progress. They switched some of Sonny's meds on friday and from saturday to sunday he is a totally different person! He is doing SO good! I'm so proud of him. Other than him mixing up his words when he talks and stuff like that, you would never even know anything happened to him. He is such a strong person! He starts rehab maybe this week or next week and soon he'll be back to doing everything he loves to do!! I'm so happy right now. It's been a long 3 weeks. Thank you all for your support! I can't thank you all enough for everything you have done! Love you guys!!

Lisa

P.S. I don't have to worry about knowing Sonny's paypal password, he could probably tell me himself!! He's doing SO GOOD!!!
