Default Headlight installation/Question

Recently read an article at installing two high beam lights instead of a high and low. Did a search and could not find. Getting ready to do my Sunday Project and wanted to hear any one's comments on this mod.
Thanks for your timely response. !!!

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, but I haven't decided on what bulbs to use. Looks like a lot of options out there.

Check out these threads:

Default High Wattage

I thought about doing the mod to the high beams but after thinking about it didn't want to be too anoying to oncoming traffic. Mine is a daily driver. I decided to use after market off road bulbs. They are alligned properly and because the lights are so low I am never flashed by oncoming traffic (only the good looking girls, there I covered that one). Here is the link. Basically, the bulbs burn out about twice as fast but for the cost no big deal.

I was able to change the low beam to a 100watt and the high beam is a cool blue 100 watt , took a dremel tool and grinded off the prongs in the light socket , now i dont over drive my lights,,,
