Default ughhhhh.........

Spilled milkshake on the passenger side floor board

I used oxiclean on it and it got most of the stain out (black interior), how should I go about getting the slightly off color tint out now?

I don't let people eat/drink in my car, but I was transporting it home

Un blot the seat and take it out. Pull the carpet and clean it. You can not get it truly clean in the car. Having it out will help it dry also.

Take carpet over to a full car wash place and have them clean carpet. I just did this on my brothers car when we putting in some sound insulation on floors.

Try "Spot Shot", Instant Carpet Stain Remover. Its made by the WD-40 Company, San Diego, Ca., www.wd40.com. We use it at work and it works great. Spray it on and wipe it off.

good ideas, I got most of it out with good old elbow grease, but I'll try the wd40 cleaner first, then remove the carpet and go from there. At least it will be easy to dye if the carpet is out and its permanent.

I spilled a bowl of baked beans in my 05 Crown Vic work car with light grey carpet. It was nasty. Wiped all I could get with out with a damp rag, then sprayed the area with the stain remover, and wiped it clean. It left no stain whatsoever. Just follow the directions...no need to remove the carpet at all. Even the smell will be gone. Its great stuff.

It sounds to me like the Oxiclean bleached the carpet to a lighter color. If thats the case redying the carpet would be the only solution.

The folks over in the Car Care Discussion section of the Forum may be able to provide you with even more suggestions. Several knowledgeable people and a few professional detailers hang out in that section. Good luck with the carpet.

The car is RUINED. You should just park it in my garage and call it quits.

Unfortunately, I tend to agree with this. Hope it will come out with some other method, but you may just need to get it redyed. Good luck.

I hope the stain comes out But in the future only hot naked chicks can eat inside the car

Since that never happens you won't have to worry about a food stain ever again
