I am the very proud owner of a '99 Convertible. I live in S. Florida, so when it rains.... it rains.
With a light rain, no problems, but when we get a heavy down pour, I get water streaming in right in the corner of the roof and windsheild. Is there any adjustments that can be made to stop this leak. It sucks going to see a customer with a soaked arm and pant leg.

Thanks for the help.
Same problem here. I had mine fixed by having the door and window adjusted properly to the gasket. My experience with the problem (6 trips to the dealership), is to find someone who understands how to tip the window and align the window properly. When mine finally got fixed it was fixed by 1 guy, 1 try and no leak since.
Thanks, that makes complete sense. The door is a little out of align. It scrapes the bottom when you close it. I've been waiting for the time to adjust, but just never seem to find it. I guess I have more reason to now.
There was a great post a few months ago with pictures and step by step instructions on how to adjust for this. Check either the search section or help and you should be able to retrieve the post. I had to adjust mine and it turned out great without having to go to the dealership.

I too have a 99 vert, if the forecast is heavy rain, I'll take my other car.
The top gets saturated and drips right where the Driver window meets the top and windshield!
Again, thanks, I'm bidding on a new roof on ebay. I hope I win, because the back window fell through. I went to a buddy of mine that does auto interiors and he told me that GM must have some alien glue that's a big secret. He has never been able to repair a window on a convertible.
If I get this new roof, do you think there is any benefit to spraying water-proofing stuff (like for leathers)? It was what I was planning on doing.
I'll search for that posting you mentioned. Again, thanks.

About a month ago I asked what to recondition my Vert top with also and was told by Juan, a Forum member to try RagTopp, sold from Forum Vender Autogeeks.com ( don't forget the Forum discount) and he was right. After using this two stage procedure water rolls off the top like a ducks back. And cleaned the top back to it's like new black color. Highly recomended.
