C5 Parts For Sale (that's where I got mine) or E-Bay (they're always on there).

I got lucky and bought one for $250 and I don't think it was ever on a car . . . unfortunately they are not cheap to get painted . . . don't get fooled into a $200 paint job a good one is a lot more if you want it done properly. So you are going to spend $500 if it is already the correct color and maybe twice that if you have to get it painted. Mine cost me $750 including a terrific paint job. Many here try to pass it off as a nickle and dime project but you get what you pay for . . . They go for $1,200 if you buy new

I bought mine from West Coast Corvettes. Paid premium price but it was spotless and the right color. Hope this helps.

I took my ebay purchase (originally white) and had it painted MSG for $275 at my local Chevy body shop (albeit they gave me a small discount because my company sends a lot of work to them). So all told I shelled out $675 for a perfect match.

When I bought the car, it came with both the clear and solid top. The solid one is under our bed and I don't know if I'll ever use it (Spiral gray). Is there a specific reason why one would want the solid top versus the clear?

Someone who lives in Cali or Las vegas might want the painted top, since it gets around 120 and sitting in the sun all day Hows your cheeks
