05-07 Shift *****
Will the new style shift **** fit on a C-5? I see them in pictures on other folks car, and I saw some guy offering a converted **** to fit a C-5. Does anyone know what the deal is?

As I recall the **** is not a direct replacement fit. The shifter however is a drop in and it is a great shorter throw shifter compared to the stock C5 shifter.

The converted **** has 9/16-18 threads tapped into it to fit the C5 shifter. I have one and further modified it with a heli-coil so I could screw it down further. Been in my car for a year and I am very happy with it...
