My wife patted my passenger door with her Navigator....Has a 4" crack ans some paint "streaked" Here's what I've been advised so far...any comments one way or the other... Best route to fix??
"The Corvette door is not fiberglass, its actually like a composite plastic
material that is very difficult to repair. It can be done initially but
over time will show through. To replace the door skin, and blend the
fender and quarter for color match - the estimate is approx $1,492.01."

Bummer on the "pat", but that's a heck of a precise "estimate"... down to the penny?!?
That does not sound to bad.
Someone backed into my car last weekend. They did not crack the panel, however they did take some paint off of the door and rear quarter. The lowest estimate to paint was $984.00 and the highest was $1008.00. Sounds like you are getting off cheap.
