You should have stopped immediately and called for a flat bed to bring it home. That way you can say, with all honesty, that it was never "driven" in the rain....
Ok, I have a 2000 Mil yellow C5. I was driving today and it started to mist just a little,
Well, I was driving my 02 Red C5 yesterday and on the way home it started pouring down hard. It was horrible, I didn't know what to do, so I tested out the traction at the rear wheels, YEP! sure if enough, if ya stomp on the gas they would spin nicely, next I turned on my traction control and YEP!, it was harder to get it to go sideways, then I turned it off to see how hard it would be to do a doughnut, KindaYEP! actually that was pretty hard, especially in a small parking lot, then I hit some pretty good size puddles to check on the seals underneath for weatherproofing. YEP! they all worked just fine.
BUT.....when I got home I found a PROBLEM..... the whole underside of my car was now completely Clean. What am I gonna do now???? Well, looks like I just have to put some more miles on it, on some back country roads when the sun comes out to fix that problem!!!
