Into every life a little rain must fall. It's ok, the car won't melt.

Sure you can say anything you want. But what about the time it sat at the factory and the dealership? Seriously it won't hurt them they don't shrink.

You should have stopped immediately and called for a flat bed to bring it home. That way you can say, with all honesty, that it was never "driven" in the rain....

Ah geeze, any moisture from the sky is considered raid. I'm afraid your car's been de-valued by 2-3 thousand just by that little misting.........

Well, I was driving my 02 Red C5 yesterday and on the way home it started pouring down hard. It was horrible, I didn't know what to do, so I tested out the traction at the rear wheels, YEP! sure if enough, if ya stomp on the gas they would spin nicely, next I turned on my traction control and YEP!, it was harder to get it to go sideways, then I turned it off to see how hard it would be to do a doughnut, KindaYEP! actually that was pretty hard, especially in a small parking lot, then I hit some pretty good size puddles to check on the seals underneath for weatherproofing. YEP! they all worked just fine.
BUT.....when I got home I found a PROBLEM..... the whole underside of my car was now completely Clean. What am I gonna do now???? Well, looks like I just have to put some more miles on it, on some back country roads when the sun comes out to fix that problem!!!
