Default future 50th anniversary Z06 value??

Do you think the 50th anniversary corvette will be worth more than others of the same general age ie 2002-2004 in the future? What are your thoughts on this?

Is the 93 worth more than the 92 or 94?

According to KBB 93 11,835
94 12,450
95 13,500

It doesn't appear that the 40th is doing any better than models during the same era.

Probably will hold true for the c5 IMO.

I think the 2004 Z06 (Z16) will have differentiation because of the modified suspension calibration and the special hood, but not the 2003 ...

... the assumption is that OP is talking about the Z06 specifically.

I wouldn't count on it doing anything special in terms of being more valuable than any other C5. JMO.

I wouldn't plan my retirement around it...

Seriously, I doubt it would command a premium of more than a few hundred or maybe (at best) a few thousand over a similarly well kept and unmodified C5 -- and that would be a long time down the road and if you found a buyer who really had to have one). I personally never understood why the '78 anniversary car managed to retain much value -- beyond the hoopla about the production and sales frenzy, it's not a terribly impressive Corvette.

It might have a higher value at some point - but I seriously doubt that it will be in your lifetime. Too many were made for it to become any kind of investment. There were 8,645 made.....

that's what I was thinking too! Just wanted to confirm this because I don't know much about vets and am in the market for a C5 right now. Took a 2003 Z03 for a test ride the other day and liked it...the salesman seemed to think it would be worth somthing in the future, but I did not fall for it!!

Let the salesman buy it as an investment then. If you plan on driving it, it surely wont appreciate , even if it turns out to be a collectible at some later date. Many used ZO6's out there, and prices are falling. Keep shopping, the right one for the right price will come along.

The regular 2004 Z06's are more rare than the z16 I believe. Look for one of them instead or the z16 it is a beautiful car.
