I have that rear mat and the partition and it seems to fit pretty flush together. I just put it in from the driver door and pushed it in and it seemed to fit well enough. The partition makes my car a lot more silant, makes the B&B exhaust seem pretty tame from the cab
I was running both, for a while.. As Derek said, try putting it in from the front. It IS tight with the mat in, but it did fit in there with a bit of convincing..
I've got the SOUTHERN CAR PARTS partition and the rear mat as shown. Mine will not work together, just to tight a fit. Now you can buy a two piece mat that fits on either side of the partition w/o a problem. I decided to use the mat anyway up against the backside of the partition and roll the narrow end up against the backside of the trunk area. It covers a portion of the outside cubby holes that way.

can you post a pic of that
i got the southern car parts partition and trunk mat
I wish i could return it and get the one that just goes in the trunk area....anyone want to buy a cargo mat?
I don't have a camera right now. You can do it two ways...install the mat so that the Z06 is backed against the trunk side of the partition, aligning the narrow ends of the mat at the openings of the side cubby holes (more as intended). The seamed edge will be beneath the forward edge of the trunk lid, but it stays in place quite well.
That mat is supposed to lay inside the interior and trunk w/o a partition. But, in doing so, the Z06 is backwards in the interior which didn't make sense or look correct.
The way I decided to use the mat is to align the top edge of the mat with the bottom trunk side of the partition. That leaves a "left over" portion of the narrow ends curving up against the back of the trunk compartment. I wanted the Z06 showing correctly as I look into the trunk compartment. I hope that makes sense.
SOUTHERN CAR PARTS has a good reputation. You might inquire if you can return the one piece mat and get the two piece mat instead. It'll probably only cost you the shipping.
