I wish I had thought of that.

Owners manual states the number of quarts in the engine is 6.5 with a filter change. I just put in 7 qts and do not worry about it. Have been doing this since I made did the first oil change on my 97 almost 10 years ago.

This looks good to me. Do you just place them behind all four wheels and back up or do you jack it up still with these? ? Sounds to easy.

I'm new here, where did you get those ramps? Thanks, Jean

the back ramps look like rino ramps. i got a set at my local Riley auto parts for about $50.00
the front ones are race ramps "roll ups".

they run about $140.00. i plan to build a set out of scrap plywood and boards. here are the dims.

Thanks for the information. So does he just drive it up on all four and doesn't need a jack?

Never mind, I found the other threads. Thanks

I took 7 quarts of Mobil1 with me to my local Chevy dealership and it cost me $19.00 to let them change it. They even tried to give me back my 1/2 quart that was left over.

5th generation!

wow i know its probably pretty simple but id be pretty nervous backing my car up like that, id be so scared that i might go over the edge lol. I'm sure you get someone to watch you or do you that by yourself?

thanks guys! i was in canada and they were RIPPING ME OFF big time. i went to another chevy dealership in pittsburgh when i was there for xmas and they charged me 65 bucks. when i get time to save money 15 bucks i think for doing it yourself ill invest in those ramps and when i also get the ***** do back it up like that!
