I have the WCC Hurricane intake on '03 vert. I put it on the car after my Magnaflow X-Pipe and Borla Stingers, and at the same time as my LGPro longtubes and high flow cats. So I dont have the greatest data on the difference as I didnt do this alone.
Rick at Synergy tuned my car - including new plugs, and the end result was 364 rwhp on the dyno.
Just put one on my 04 Zo6 and love it. Looks and quality are there but I don't have any numbers for you. Also, you know SOTP feelings differ with everyone. Email me and I will send you some photos of it installed.. Also it takes a couple of hours to do but worth the effort. VNVETT
which one are you talking about, I have the twin chrome air intake with two filters on it I didnt really notice much SOTP difference but I noticed some difference in the sound when you get on it, there is a pic of it thru the open hood in my pics
Installed a Hurricane on my 2001 about 18mos ago. I noticed some improvement in throttle response at the low end. Only two complaints are:
(1) It is a major pain to take apart, clean element and reassemble - probably easier with a helper to hold the air cleaner up while reinstalling shroud, but I always need 3 hands to get it done,
(2) In my case the connection hose is about 5/8" too short to pull everything together easily. WCC sent me another hose, but it too was too short?
