Locating the Build Sheet
While reading a very informative post about the C5 Vette, it was stated that the build sheet is in the "front rebar". Can anyone clarify the location of this rebar? Can it be easily accessed? Would love to recover it if it is still there and put it with the original window sticker!!

i took a trip to the factory last year and asked the man who put them in at the factory he said to take a air compressor ---and blow gun tip put it in the front horn and blow it over to one side and pull it out .

when i had the front fascia off last spring i pulled mine out and had a look at it.
neat little piece of history.
aside from pulling the fascia .. i dont see any way to really access it easily.

You need to take the front fascia off to get to it. Easier to just order one from the National Corvette Museum.

Save yourself a lot of trouble and save a treasure for someone down the road! The museum copy is exact in every detail and a lot easier to get to... unless you want to spend a few hours disassembling your front bumper cover and foam padding. Even then you're likely to get a stained, fragile and barely legible copy... your call...
