Simple question, where is the Z06 flat tire kit located in the car? I recently purchased an '04 and I can't find it. I did notice a strap in the passenger side storage well. I'm thinking it goes there and is missing. Just want to make sure it's not hiding somewhere before I go ask the dealer to provide one.

That is in fact where it belongs Thankfully Ive never had to use mine seems like it would be a pain in the ***.
*edit* John I think you would be better off looking for an aftermarket kit that fits, It would be more convenient than the gm piece of crap. One example here which would be much quicker and easier. This is in canada but it is a dunlop product I believe you should have no problem finding it in your area (5 min tire repair) http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...romSearch=true

...for some reason, very few resale Z06 cars come with the oem tire inflation kit...the owners sell them on EBAY for hundreds of dollars.
Buy an after market compressor, sealant and tire plugs for much less money.
Thanks for all of the input! If the dealer is willing to provide one, I'll go that route, otherwise thanks for the recommendations on aftermarket options!
I guess I should consider myself lucky, I just bought a 2002 Z06 with 24k miles on it, and the original unused tire kit was still in the rear trunk area.
