Who the hell cares if you're going to hell anyways, if there is such a thing. I used to lay a patch down our 100ft driveway to announce my arrival after I won an autox or some other car event in my camaro. My parents never seemed to mind, mom got used to it and would say, I guess you won again
I don't see anything wrong with it. I think my Mom would have seen the humor and harmless mischievousness of it. Enjoy her while you can - I lost my mother 3-1/2 years ago and regret not leaving more "patches" in front of her house.
Here she is after getting her first ride in a vette shortly after I bought it.
Patches - the result of an exuberant, accelerative launch
I wish my mother was still here so we could go out and do a few burnouts.
every time I got my parents in one of my cars, they got a ride. heck, they liked it. My dad used go guess when we hit 100 mph....he used to race bikes and liked to get a little speed thrill every now and then. He would ride fast with me, but hardly drove over 40 in real life after he hit 60 years of age
I had a friend get killed in a freak wreck, black ice. At the funeral I drove his pro street 66 chevelle. the preacher stopped the graveside service so I could do a full boogie WOT into 3rd gear burnout with his car . His parents and friends ALL agreed he was along for the ride. I had tears after doing the burnout. We loved doing burnouts in his chevelle,,,,it was a blown 396 , tubbed on sticky mickeys.

No,,,,,,,, not cool ! you're in front of people's homes,, have some respect ! give vette owners a bad rep.
I have to ask myself why some people buy a Corvette. If you are just going to putt around all of the time trade it in on a Yugo. And save on the insurance. It's allright you can have fun once in a while.
