Exhaust extensions vibrating
I just found the source of an annoying rattle. My stainless steel exhaust extensions. At a certain speed and vibration they rub and vibrate. Is there an after-market rubber spacer for these things?
Thanks guys and Happy New Year!!

I'm not aware of any but maybe someone else here is. It might not be too hard to rig something up.

I had the same problem. They are touching and that will cause an annoying sound at certain RPM's.
1.Loosen the screws on each extension.
2.Jam a wood shim in between each pair to seperate them.
3.Tighten the screws.
You may need to replace some of the screws or redrill a hole or 2 during this procedure.

As a last resort you can always get them spot welded in place. Would only take one weld spot each.
