Driving home in the rain last night and started getting dripped on pretty bad...Comming from where the tiller and the targa top meets in the front on both sides...Also water on the floor board...dripping on my feet..How do I fix this?
Have you tried conditioning the seals with something? GM recommends dielectic grease, this is supposed to help expand the seals. I've seen glycerin and other stuff like Zymol Seal, you might try one of these before replacing parts.
My 2001 does not leak, period. I use dielectic grease every few months to maintain the seals. YMMV.
You can also do a search on leaks and find a lot of info. I think there is a sticky on top of the forum that will also give you additional info. Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.
I had a minor leak right at the front drivers side of the roof on the way to Carlisle 2 years ago (in a hurricane I might add ). Tried the di-electric grease when I got home and that put a stop to it right away!
