What is the best economical way to increase hp other than intake and exhaust?

I'm not sure there is an economical way
Lots of choices though: Heads/cam; blower; turbo's. Probably the most economical would be Nitrous. It really depends on how much do you want and how will you use it.
Good Luck on your choice

It improves the Power to Weight ratio, which improves performance... so in effect, you are increasing the applied HP... sort of.

So you can measure it on a dyno? The question was how to increase hp, not performance, or gears could have been a response.

N2O - Nitrous Oxide, as stated above. Best bang for the buck.

I think you'll find the supercharger kits are very well proven and very reliable. I think you'll find this is the most fun for the money, for daily driving.

Sorry I got caught up in the bolt on mods. For the spent on them, I'd go for the supercharger and be done.
