What is a good price for installing these? I have the entire kit coming...I have been quoted 995 for install and 600.00 for dyno tune. They are a very well known tuner but I feel like the install price is a little high..... what are your thoughts on this?
Steven
Seems high on the header install................The guy I know charges $58.00 an hour and I think the header install takes around 5 hours with the right tools and a lift..............The tune sounds about right....Good luck Sorry about the info, after talking to him today he charges $80.00 an hour(Corvette price)....And said it's about a 5 hour job for the complete system installed.........

Reason: Wrong info
Seems high, I checked around before I installed my ARH's, and it was 3-500. Somebody doing it should be able to get it done in imho 4-6 hrs. Sounds like maybe they don't really want your business, I would shop around.
I have found that labor is expensive around here for Vette's.
I paid just over 700 to get my headers, cats, and x-pipe installed.
My tune cost me 450 for road tune and multiple dyno runs to perfectly dial in the system...
Your being clocked on the install. 5 hours max @ $100/hr. I am beinf generous here. My AR headers were in and out 2.5 hours. Installed by ECS so double it and there is your cost. Dyno is also a tad high but within range.
For the NE members the $1795 inlcudes the American Racing headers and Elite Engineering tunnel plate INSTALLED; tuning is an additional $350 until late Jan.
did some cleaning today

Had my AR headers installed for $495, and tuning was $350 here in Denver at a local corvette shop. Your price seems high as to what everyone else seems to be getting theirs done for.
