A little engine bling!
Now that the engine is basically finished I decided it was time for a little dress up. I had the bowtie valve covers powder coated candy apple red. They turned out much better than the pics. This weekend we add a Phil Thomas (PHIL97SVT) coil relocation setup, red spark plug wires, FAST billet fuel rails (red anodized), CCA catch can (also red) with braided lines, Katech tensioner and clean up the engine wiring.
Next step is to powder coat the alternator and bracket.
Here are the valve covers.

Ahhhhhhhh I hate you!
I must see these pics... btw please let me know exactly how you take the alternator apart to powdercaot mine. I want to wrinkle paint mine while it's out for my cam swap.
If you could please record the process w/ steps and pics if possible. I've heard you need a puller to get the pulley off of and have to be very careful about getting any coating on the inside of the alternator.
Your setup will look incredible.

send it to metron or find a local alternator shop to take it apart. there is some epoxy stuff that has to be sealed back inside it when it is taken apart.
gb can help you get it to metron

The valve covers look great. Show us some pics of the complete setup when you get a chance.

you would have thought they were shoes.
