How would I find out exactly how many C5 verts were produced with my combo in 2002?
Triple black Roadster
Z51 suspension package
6 speed manual transmission
3.42 gears
polished wheels
side molding
fully loaded
I have had several people make offers to buy my vehicle. Have been told this is a winning combo. I remember when I bought this back in 02, I wanted performance in a vert model. I didn't really know at the time what I was getting but I think I got lucky cause I love it.

Well - since Chevrolet and GM don't keep accurate numbers of combinations of options - finding out exactly how many cars were made with your exact combination of options is near to impossible - if not impossible. The best that you can do is to "extrapolate" the number.
If you have access to a Corvette Black Book by Mike Antonick and you refer to page 15 - there is a good dissertation on the meaning of this term.
Basically - you can make a educated guess armed with a site like the Corvette Action Center and a calculator.
You know from reading that there were 2402 Black convertibles made. You also know that there were 8330 convertibles made with a black interior or 66%. Therefore you can assume or extrapolate that 66% of the black convertibles (or 1585) had a black interior. And so on......

that it is going to be hard to pin down just how many C5s of your year were made with all the combination of options you list. Regardless of how many were actually made, if the car is nice, it will sell itself. Sounds like it has all the right equipment.
After visiting several sites offering final production number details, the best 'guess-timate' I can come up with is:
35,767 vettes built in 2002
12,710 were roadsters
and since only 1,382 of the roadsters were produced with the full options/comfort package, (this package dose not include mechanical performance stuff), my car and those exactly like it have to fall somewhere below this 1,382 number.
After averaging out how many Triple Black Roadsters were produced and looking at the Z51 and 6-speed numbers, my best guess is that
about 350 (plus or minus 75) cars were built with these specs.
Out of a total of almost 36,000 vettes produced in 2002 having only about 350 cars fitting this 'cool combo' is pretty good. I'll try to guess about how many total over the entire production run later on today.

OK now, after reviewing all C5 production numbers it looks like a total of
248,715 C5 corvettes were manufactured from 1997-2004.
No convertibles manufactured in 1997. So, if you average about between300 to 400 Triple Black, Z51, 6 speed fully loaded verts per year from 1998 to 2004 you get a run of between 2100 to 2800 of this combination.
I would have to say pretty cool for resale value and collectibality in the future.
Any manual Z51 Triple Blackers want to check my numbers?

And furthermore, If you consider the Triple Black Roadster, Z51, 6-speed, fully loaded with "polished thin spoke wheels" to be even more of a cooler vette, then this is interesting:
Since the polished thin spoked wheels were only produced from 2002 onward, then there are only between 900-1200 of these really cool C5 roadsters out there.
Pretty cool if you have one of these 900-1200 out of close to 249,000 built.
Wish I could nail the exact figure but feel I am darn close.
Now, I know all C5's are darn nice but these numbers are worth considering.
Just think how smart we'd be if only we had studied in school as hard as we investigate our C5's. This problem alone, you've work on, could have prevented Global warming!
If it existed!

Wow! I hadn't seen this thread for quite awhile and forgot about it. Between it's original post and today a "new member" had introduced himself and we all welcomed him to the Forum Blah Blah Blah here to find out his C5 (I forget what year, not that it matters) is "Right hand Drive!" I believe he said he was in New Zealand. You talk about a low production RPO, can you imagine how many Vettes were made in Right hand Drive? Can you say "Barrett-Jackson?"
And furthermore, If you consider the Triple Black Roadster, Z51, 6-speed, fully loaded with "polished thin spoke wheels" to be even more of a cooler vette, then this is interesting:

Anyone??
Actually I think they were from 2000 and up. I know my 01 has polished thin spokes.
