Wow - you could have a lot of fun with a title like that couldnt you.

Im not talking sister's, Im talking twin related toys. Due to an amazing wife, and a much improved stock market. I get to indulge in my love for high powered twins.

Last year, my wife said - you should get yourself another Harley (I had sold the last one to finance some home improvements - I had 2 other bikes) and actually talked me into the new bike. I was responsible and I sold my Ducati in order to get it, but she talked me into getting a Fatboy "I really like the ones with flames on it". Twin #1: HD 103ci V-Twin

Then the Christmas specials came around, and knowing how much I wanted to add some power to my C5 - the order went in for my TTi-X kit. Im now anxiously awaiting the end of the month and a trip to Synergy for the install. Twin #2: Twin Turbo Widebody C5

Im happy and content (though Im a Ducati-less Ducatidave at this point). So just this weekend my wife says "I dont like your R6, you have crashed at the track twice - its bad luck - you should by a Ducati - didnt you say a new one is coming out". I tell her there is, but Im really fine, I dont need a new bike right now. As Im talking she is online on the Ducati website, and says "See this one is pretty, you should get this ..."

http://www.ducati.com/od/ducatinorth...tml?model=1901

the line was baited, the hook was set, and reeled. Im getting the 4th one that comes into Monterey Powersports after February. Twin #3: Ducati 160+ hp V-twin

Now I just need to finish selling my R-6, and Im on the phone with the jeweler - I was reeled in and now Im dealing with the hook. Funny this thing in my lip doesnt feel that bad.

Oh man.... That's the one I wanted but finances wouldn't permit it. I'm getting the regular 1098 but I think it will be a great bike still without the extras ( ohlins, termignoni pipes, cool italian colors, gold wheels) I can't wait it's supposed to be here around the 1st of Febuary. Some say might be the best ducati superbike ever produced. We shall see. I currently have a 998 and will not part with it and some others but I will always try to stay a Ducatiest. Good luck to you with the purchase and keep the rubber side down...

I love the looks, feel, and handling of Duc's. It was a tough decision withe the 749S. In retrospect I should have sold the R6 for the Harley. However, it paved the way for something even better.

That new 1098 is bad a$$. It not only performs like the big guns but looks like a Ducati again.
