For those of you going with widened fenders, word to the wise.

Be certian the gas flap pin isn't exposed to the elements. If you don't, you'll eventually one day not be able to close your gas flap b/c the pin will be covered in dirt and stick.

Don't ask me how I know.

I personally think it doesn't look good, just doesn't visually "fit" with the C5 body style.

They need to flair it in a gradual manner like this..

There is also the pictures floating around of that guy from canada, that has the purple vette with a custom flairs, that was a excellent job.

Looks awesome! Is that a kit or a custom job? Also, if it was a custom job, how did they go about flaring it? What materials were used...gotta talk to my paint and body guy....

Any info is appreciated!

I think it was a ACP panel, but I'm not sure. Do a search for fender flair, and you'll find it, that's what I did.

This is an acp panel for certain - takes a lot of time at the body shop to make them look factory - 200 hours for my widebody kit.

I'm going to go one step farther and order badges that just say "X-Large" and really watch people scratch their heads.
