need fiberglass help
ok well if u read my other post got in accident recently ....well i was wondering if anyone here ever made a fiberglass light frames..for headlights......almost like the fixed headlight u see for sale....i want to put 2 foglights with hids on eachside....i want to make the whole system myself......but i need help on the fiberglass fixtures ???.....

You can make anything from fiberglass, but in order to make what you're describing, I would make a mock-up if you will using any materials you can to carve, sand, and shape the product, then you can lay up fiberglass molds off of your mock-up parts (plugs) and then lay up a nice set of uniform thickness parts for actual use.
Making a mock up part just takes time and effort, the materials don't really cost that much. And if you've never done body work etc., be prepared to work and rework the initial plugs as you learn via trial and error.

Is this what your after?
You might start with a sheet of styrofoam cut and sanded to the shape of the factory headlight covers with a couple of cardboard tubes cut and carefully positioned and glued. Then smear on some vaseline and lay on the glass.
