Default Video Upload Question

Moderators: This IS C5 related...I am just having some trouble uploading a video of the exhaust I installed on my car.

I tried Youtube.com, but it only allows 100mb MAX...My video is 120mb. Any other suggestions...I would like to post the video I made specifically for the fellow members that still havent taken the leap and done their exhaust.

Thanks,

Joe

Unless you video lasts about an hour you will need to resize it.

Your camcorder should have come with software to do it or if you have windows xp, find the program windows movie maker, open your file in it and then either cut away parts of the viedeo or encode it in a smaller size

hi Joe, you cant really upload videos to the CF servers, (unless I'm wrong, wouldnt be the first time) you have to host it somewhere and then link to it in your post.

As mentioned already, you need to severly compress the video, or it will take forever to down load it not to metnion trying to find a free host server to have that big of a file and the traffic too.

Download this free application to convert your video.

http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/

Go to photobucket and sign up for an account and then upload your compressed video and link to it in your post.

Hope this helps and if I can be of any further assistance do not hesitate to contact me.

All the Best

Brad
